• -girls ages 11-16 learn about engineering and science through hands-on activities
• -open to girl scouts and non-girl scouts
• -located at UCR
• -5week program (june10-aug11) : 2wks of daycamp, 1wk of resident camp, 2wks of daycamp
• -looking for teachers for the program. Get paid 2500-3000 for the 5wks
• -can be an undergrad for this job
• -don't have to be there for the whole 5wks if you want to participate. You can be a
• mentor, can come and speak for a day, or help out during the night for the resident
• camp

• Dominoes pizza cards fundraising--$7 each, they work at more than one
• Dominoes(look online for places, they expire Dec 31, 2006, at least 25 cards need to be sold, trying to get everyone to sell at least one card
• The guys have a SWE intramural football team-Wednesdays 9pm on the IM field
• Thinking about having another potluck-maybe during the 8 th week

SWE Ice Cream Social, October 11, 2005

Number of participants: 40

Everyone who came sat around and ate ice cream. After that, we also had an ice breaker called "Paper airplanes." Participants answer questions on a piece of paper, fold it into a paper airplane, and throw it across the room. Someone else finds that piece of paper and try to find the person to match the answers on the paper.
