Academic Programs

Interdisciplinary research and collaboration are hallmarks of the Bourns College of Engineering. We also are distinguished by our teaching. Classes are taught by faculty, not TAs. Faculty inspire, teach and challenge our students, engaging them in hands-on research and multifaceted design programs that involve real-world problems.
Our fully accredited programs offer the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in a range of disciplines. The newest program at Bourns is a five-year joint B.S.+ M.S. program with allows top-performing students to prepare for careers in diverse industries on an accelerated schedule.
