Interdisciplinary research and collaboration are hallmarks of the Bourns College of Engineering. We also are distinguished by our teaching. Faculty inspire, teach and challenge our students, engaging them in hands-on research and multifaceted design programs that involve real-world problems.

Our fully accredited programs offer the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in a range of disciplines. Our five-year joint B.S.+ M.S. program allows top-performing students to prepare for careers in diverse industries on an accelerated schedule. Our new Materials Science and Engineering Program crosses the boundaries of all the engineering disciplines as well as those in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.
