A Bourns Engineering formula race car team of 13 graduating seniors successfully completed the safety and technical competition against an international roster of 81 engineering colleges. The students, all Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) members, completed the design and construction of their entry in a year. “It’s the most challenging project any undergraduate could undertake in college,” said SAE President Clayton Stothers.
