Biography
Dr. Morikis practices cross-disciplinary research in
the fields of bioengineering, biopharmaceutical discovery, biophysics,
structural biology, and computational chemistry. His current research
efforts focus on understanding of the physicochemical basis of immune
system function and the design of inhibitors against ill-regulated
immune system. He is a member of the following professional
organizations: American Association for the Advancement of Science,
Biophysical Society, American Chemical Society, Biomedical Engineering
Society, Society for Biological Engineering, and International
Complement Society.
