Immunophysics, immunoengineering, computational modeling of biomolecules and biomolecular interactions, structural bioinformatics, rational protein, peptide, and drug design, NMR spectroscopy.

Biography

Dr. Morikis practices cross-disciplinary research in the fields of bioengineering, biopharmaceutical discovery, biophysics, structural biology, and computational chemistry. His current research efforts focus on understanding of the physicochemical basis of immune system function and the design of inhibitors against ill-regulated immune system. He is a member of the following professional organizations: American Association for the Advancement of Science, Biophysical Society, American Chemical Society, Biomedical Engineering Society, Society for Biological Engineering, and International Complement Society.
