Biography

Prof. Ravishankar is a Professor of Computer Science and Associate Dean in the Bourns College of Engineering. His research investigates various practical and theoretical issues in the areas of Databases, Networking, and Security. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a doctorate in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
