Collaborative Research
Faculty are involved in numerous collaborative research projects, teaming with both government agencies and private industry. The University of California offers matching UC Discovery Grants in six focused areas of research through the Industry-University Cooperative Research Program. Programs such as the IUCRP allow companies to leverage their R & D funds for greater impact and expand their R&D capacity through partnerships with UCR researchers.
