Welcome

The outreach mission of the Center for Nanoscience Innovation for Defense (CNID) is to foster a lifelong interest in science and technology by teaching people of all ages about the world of nanotechnology. The programs link research to students of all ages and create community support. The K-12 activities integrate concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and engineering and provide interdisciplinary learning modules based upon the established National Science Education Standards.
