Nanoscale Materials, Devices and Circuits
Elaine D. Haberer received her Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in 2005. Prior to joining the faculty at UC Riverside, she was a postdoctoral researcher at UC Santa Barbara where she studied viral-based assembly of inorganic materials, specifically hybrid Au-CdSe nanostructured films for low-cost solar cell applications. Her doctoral thesis focused on the development of a novel semiconductor etching technique for the fabrication of GaN-based microdisk lasers. Her professional affiliations include IEEE, MRS, AIChE SBE, and SWE.
