Support Bourns

The state budget provides about one-quarter of the university's annual operating budget. Support from a variety of sources - including grants and gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations - make the difference in allowing the College to maintain its growth in capabilities and excellence. The importance of the generous support of alumni and friends will continue to increase, providing many ways to impact the College.
Today, philanthropic gifts support capital projects, students, teaching, research, student competitions, and public service activities at Bourns. Gifts can be specifically made to benefit the College.
Undesignated gifts to engineering are used by the College's leadership to provide flexibility in supporting emerging centers of excellence, new initiatives and areas of greatest need.
