Dr. Guo received his Ph.D. in bioengineering from UCSD, where he also served as a postdoctoral researcher. While at the Center for Functional MRI, he focused on method development of arterial spin labeling (ASL, including pulsed, pseudo-continuous and velocity-selective), improving the temporal resolution, spatial resolution, and signal-to-noise ratio efficiency. Most recently, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Lucas Imaging Center at Stanford University studying the application and evaluation of pseudo-continuous and velocity-selective ASL in stroke and Moyamoya patients. He has presented at the last 10 ISMRM annual meetings and has served as an academic journal reviewer for numerous publications including Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (MRM), Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (JCBFM), and Neuroimage.
