Advisory Boards

Guidance That Strengthens Engineering Excellence

BCOE advisory boards connect the college with senior leaders, alumni, industry partners and public-sector experts who bring external perspective to engineering education, research and impact.

Through the Dean’s Council of Advisors and department boards, BCOE gains insight that helps align programs, curricula and partnerships with the needs of students, employers and communities.

Dean’s Council of Advisors

External perspective for a college built for impact

The Dean’s Council of Advisors is composed of active and retired senior leaders from business, industry, government and academia who represent regional, statewide and national high-technology industries.

The council provides the dean with guidance, counsel and recommendations on college programs and activities. Members help identify critical issues, review curricula for relevance, assess research for purpose and progress, and offer support as requested by the dean.
