Engineering college to host virtual open house sessions for Fall 2022; attendees save $40 on application fees

As graduate applicants gear up to submit their applications for Fall 2022 admission, they will have a chance to get their questions answered during a virtual graduate open house being held the week of October 12. During the event, attendees will hear from graduate program advisors and faculty about application submission requirements, department areas of research, and student outcomes among other information.

“Because choosing a university for graduate school is a big decision, it is vital that prospective students be well informed as they plan for this important next step,” said Charles Wyman, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education at the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering. “The open house provides a great opportunity for prospective students to learn more about our programs, engage directly with our faculty and take advantage of our application discount.”

The college will host seven virtual program-specific sessions throughout the week-long event. New this year, the university will also host a series of student life sessions focused on areas such as international student services, student health services, and undocumented student services.
