BCOE Facilities & MakeRspaces
Spaces built for discovery, design, and impact.
At the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE), our facilities and makerspaces empower students, faculty, and partners to move ideas from concept to reality. From advanced research laboratories and user facilities to collaborative makerspaces, these environments support every stage of engineering—design, fabrication, testing, and iteration.
Whether you are developing prototype systems, exploring new materials, or building interdisciplinary projects, you will find the tools, expertise, and community to support your work. Here, hands-on learning and research converge to solve real-world challenges and expand what is possible.
